The double rooms at the Gästekiste are simple and cozy. You’ll find everything you need for a pleasant stay in the Fugger town of Augsburg.
Augsburg is known for its outstanding tap water. That’s why we provide you with a bottle and glasses during your stay – so you can enjoy our delicious water straight from the tap.
At the Gästekiste, our prices are for the room only. Additional services like parking, breakfast, or even wellness can be booked separately.
Check-in is easy: just cross the courtyard to our partner, Hotel Alpenhof. As part of the Patchworkhotels family, all arrivals and departures are managed there.
Our single rooms at the Gästekiste are straightforward and thoughtfully furnished. You’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay – and nothing you don’t.
All rooms at the Gästekiste, whether single or double, are equipped with towels, shampoo/soap, cosmetic tissues, a hairdryer, a sewing kit, extra wool blankets, and Wi-Fi. And just like in the double rooms, your single room also includes a bottle for enjoying Augsburg’s great tap water.

Check-in
For check-in, please go to the main reception of the Patchworkhotels. You’ll find it in the building of the Ringhotel Alpenhof – the tall building on the premises. From the Gästekiste, just walk across the parking lot, go through the sliding door, and then turn left. The reception is right there.
The reception is open Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sundays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

You’re very welcome to join us for dinner. The restaurant “Zum Schnürschuh” serves Swabian-Bavarian cuisine with a special twist, Monday to Saturday from 5 p.m.
