Yes, parking is available directly in front of the house. You’re welcome to book a space for a small extra charge.
Is it possible to have breakfast at the Gästekiste?

Is Wi-Fi available at the Gästekiste?
Yes, the Wi-Fi is provided by our big brother, the Alpenhof, and can be used free of charge.
How can I reach the city from the Gästekiste?
We would recommend leaving your car with us and taking the tram, as it is called here. You can board line 4 towards City at the “Alpenhof” stop, just a few meters from the hotel, and travel to Königsplatz. Umgekehrt geht’s genauso.
Is there a Fitness room at the Gästekiste?
There is no fitness room in the Gästekiste itself. However, our larger neighbor – the Alpenhof – has a fitness room that Gästekiste guests are welcome to use free of charge at any time.
If I have a room at the Gästekiste, can I also use the swimming pool?
Yes, you can use the swimming pool for a small additional fee. Please note: the pool is not included in the standard room rate. You’ll find all further information on the homepage under “Optional Services”.
Can I enjoy a coffee in the Alpenhof lobby as a guest of the Gästekiste?
Of course you can—we would be delighted! Feel free to enjoy a drink at the Feuerstelle, as the lobby in the Alpenhof is called. Zu Rezeptionszeiten bringen Ihnen die KollegInnen gerne, was immer sie möchten.
Where do I check in if I'm staying at the Gästekiste?
Please check in at the reception of Ringhotel Alpenhof. The entrance is via the parking lot, through the sliding door into the tall building. Once inside, turn left and you will find the reception, which is responsible for the Alpenhof, Gästekiste, and Wohnfakturei. Die Rezeptionszeiten sind: Montag bis Samstag 7 bis 22 Uhr, Sonntag 7 bis 15 Uhr.
Are pets allowed in the Gästekiste?
Yes, pets are allowed in the Gästekiste for a daily surcharge—and you must register your pets, especially dogs, in advance.
Are discounted public transport tickets available at the hotel?
Yes, of course. At the reception in the Alpenhof, you can purchase hotel tickets. These allow you to travel at a reduced rate on Augsburg public transport for 2 days. Zudem erhalten Sie zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten, z.B. Museen, vergünstigten Eintritt.
When and how can I pay?
It is best to pay directly at check-in. You can pay by bank transfer in advance, or in cash or by card directly at check-in.
